- Family Kan, has been in the marble industry more than a century, in Kastamonu – Cide. Till 1984 they have been individual firms . In 1984 they have formed the ALTINTAS MARBLE INDUSTRY AND TRADING CO.
Our major as Altintas Marble Ind. and Trade. Co. is to produce marble blocks from our own quarries and to process the blocks in our own factories to fulfill domestic and international customer demands.
Our headquarters is located in Kocaeli – Karamursel and our factory is in Yalova – Altinova. We also have a contact office in Istanbul. Our quarries are located at; Marmara Island, Bartın-Amasra, Kastamonu-Cide, Muğla-Yatağan, Denizli-Dazkırı, Karabük Eskipazar and Karabük – Eflani . Furthermore, We also carry on some of international and domestic transportations by our own vessels.
Marble is a natural material and is formed in different colors and shapes. Marble is a material which production and quality is increasing continuosly with the latest technologies and mechanization techniques. Parallel to the technological improvements, marble is processed in different sizes for producing tiles and manufactured marble. Our factories are using the latest technology machines and our production profile is increasing in a tremendous way.
Our company is one of the best and known firms in this industry with our high quality and high capacity manufacturing.
Our firm is attending to marble exhibitions all over the world to reach new international markets in order to increase international export and to increase the foreign currency income that effects Turkey’s economy in a positive way.
